Job summary

Mahaska Bottling Company, Inc. is seeking a driven Route Sales Driver-trainee to cover a designated territory in the Kansas area. You will deliver, merchandise, rotate stock, and position beverage products at established accounts on your route as you learn the conventional routes.

As a trainee, you will fill in during vacations, and may have the chance to take over a route permanently. The role requires independence, reliability, and good communication, with full-time benefits and a path to

Qualifications

• Must have driver’s license with good driving record and be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a two-wheel cart up to 200 lbs.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to designated accounts; fill coolers and displays.
• Rotate and merchandise products and place beverages on shelves.
• Learn conventional routes and fill in during vacations and on all routes year-round.
• Opportunity to fill a vacant route permanently if it becomes available.

Description

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, hard-working Route Sales Driver-trainee. As a Conventional Route Sales Driver, you will deliver; fill coolers and displays, rotate and merchandise, and place beverage products at established accounts throughout a designated route. As the trainee, you will learn all of the conventional routes and be able to fill in during vacations as well as help on all routes year around. In the event that a route becomes vacant, you may have the opportunity to fill that route permanently.

Requirements

Possess the ability to work independently, be financially driven and dependable as well as have excellent communication skills. Ability to work in outdoors environment and able to lift up to 50 lbs. with ability to maneuver two-wheel cart weighting up to 200 lbs. Must have driver’s license with good driving record and be 21 years of age or older.

Possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. repeatedly. Forklift experience is preferred, but not required. Possess a high school diploma or GED.
