Job summary

Maryland & Virginia Milk is seeking a Route Sales Driver in Culpeper, VA to deliver and sell dairy products along a fixed route. You will stock, rotate, and display products while providing excellent customer service to our retail partners.

Qualifications include a valid Class A or B CDL, 21+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and prior customer service or sales experience. The role features early start times (3:00–5:00 AM) and a full-time schedule with benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and remove unsellable product.
• Maintain a clean, fully stocked display area for each customer.
• Pick up empty milk crates.
• Resolve discrepancies; alert management as needed.
• Use handheld computer to order products, track sales and inventory daily.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policy, including inspections and paperwork.
• Maintain the truck in good condition, including cab and refrigerated box.

Salary Range: $54,000 - $58,000 per year

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, start time between 3:00 AM - 5:00 AM, with a 10+ to 11+ hour work shift.

Willingness to work additional days and federal holidays if needed.

SUMMARY

Responsible for safely driving a commercial motor vehicle over established route to deliver and sell dairy products. Stocks and rotates all products, providing excellent customer service.

• Pick up all empty milk crates
• Resolve discrepancies and minor customer issues, alerting management when necessary.
• Use a handheld computer to order products, calculate sales and track inventory daily.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policy including required pre and post trip inspections, completing required paperwork daily.
• Maintain assigned truck in a neat and clean condition including inside cab and refrigerated box.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a Class A or Class B CDL
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or International Education Equivalent
• Customer Service or Sales Experience is a plus
• Direct Store Delivery experience is a plus
• Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and physical abilities test
• Must be organized, detailed oriented, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
