Maola Local Dairies is seeking a Relief Route Sales Driver to cover open shifts across branches (excluding Newport News). The role trains new Route Sales Drivers and Shipping/Receiving staff, while modeling professionalism, punctuality, and strong customer service.
You will manage route knowledge, follow warehouse protocols, and coordinate coverage for illnesses or vacations. Candidates must hold a Class A or B CDL, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and bring customer service
Salary Range: $58,000
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, start time between 3:00 AM - 5:00 AM, with a 10+ to 11+ hour work shift.
Willingness to work additional days and federal holidays if needed.
The Relief Route Sales Driver for the Distribution Department in all branches, except Newport News, is responsible for covering open positions/shifts within their assigned branch and training newly hired associates. Open positions may include Route Sales Drivers and/or Shipping and Receiving Associates who have scheduled or unscheduled time off and positions/shifts open due to resignation, termination and/or newly created positions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must be able to reach, bend, extend, and lift 50-60 pounds. The employee must be able to frequently climb up in and step down from truck/tractor trailer.
