Oakhurst Dairy seeks a Route Sales Delivery driver to operate tractor-trailer units on local Portland, ME routes. This home-based role offers a four-day workweek with early starts, and most deliveries at loading docks with minimal liftgate work.

The position requires a CDL-A, DOT medical card, and knowledge of Hours-of-Service. You will interface with customers daily and use handheld devices for sales and delivery docs, with comprehensive benefits and an annual safety bonus.

Competenze

This position features a brand-new four-day workweek rotation with early-morning start times, two consecutive days off, and a rotating schedule that includes weekends off. Our Portland-based management team coordinates driver schedules, routes, and process improvements locally, working to build schedules that support both the operation and our team members.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Existing or ability to obtain a DOT medical Card
• Operational Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections in accordance with DOT standards
• Good communication skills and ability to interface positively with customers
• Delivery type job experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up 50 lbs and safely climb in and out of a tractor and trailer
• Able to operate handheld/mobile computers to transact sales & delivery documents
