Oakhurst Dairy, a Dairy Farmers of America subsidiary, is hiring a CDL A driver for our Portland, ME route. This role offers a four-day workweek, early-morning starts, and local daily routes with weekends off. You will deliver to loading docks, interact with customers, and help maintain efficient route operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• DOT medical card and compliance with hours-of-service rules.
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections per DOT.
• Strong communication skills and customer interaction.
• Experience delivering via local routes; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate handheld/mobile computers for sales & delivery docs.
• Starting compensation based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver locally from Portland, ME to customers on route.

This position features a brand-new four-day workweek rotation with early-morning start times, two consecutive days off, and a rotating schedule that includes weekends off. Our Portland-based management team coordinates driver schedules, routes, and process improvements locally, working to build schedules that support both the operation and our team members.

• Valid Class A CDL
• Existing or ability to obtain a DOT medical Card
• Operational Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections in accordance with DOT standards
