Job summary

Schwan's Company is hiring a CDL Class B delivery driver in Springfield, MO to provide route coverage, deliver products, place orders, and merchandise to ensure shelf availability for popular brands. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend travel and early starts.

You will unload, place products in back rooms, drive sales by securing display space, and build strong relationships with store personnel while adhering to DOT regulations and inspections.

Qualifications

• Previous DSD, grocery, delivery, or warehouse experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to meet pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide route coverage while delivering product, placing orders, and merchandising to ensure availability on store shelves.
• Work a Monday through Friday schedule with some weekend travel and early morning start.
• Unload products, place in back room, and collect proof of delivery.
• Place orders and drive additional sales by gaining display space and promoting new products.
• Merchandise product, maintain display space, and rotate product.
• Use handheld technology and sales software to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain DOT rules and perform truck inspections.
