Job summary

Community Coffee is seeking a Route Relief Sales Representative to support the Sales Manager by planning relief for assigned routes and ensuring uninterrupted service. You will deliver products, maintain inventory, and promote customer satisfaction in the absence of the regular Route Sales Representative.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or sales experience required.
• Route sales and cold calling experience in a DSD environment preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL may be required based on location.
• Acceptable driving record; DOT medical certification.
• Pre-employment physical completed; COVID vaccination may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan route relief schedules in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
• Deliver products, equipment, and supplies to existing customers during relief periods.
• Solicit additional product purchases to drive sales.
• Collect customer payments and manage daily route deposits.
• Load and maintain truck inventory for each visit.
• Maintain product freshness and shelf presentation.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction via consistent service.
• Service coffee brewing equipment at customer locations.
• Record sales, inventory, and delivery information accurately.
• Participate in trade shows and special events to promote products.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and keep the truck clean.
