HP Hood is seeking a Route Relief Operator in Portland, Maine. The role acts as a fill-in for the regular route driver to deliver products to HP Hood customers. A current CDL A, clean MVR, valid medical card, and ability to perform manual labor are required.

Job Summary:

The primary function of the Route Relief Operator position is to act as a fill-in for the regular route driver in the transportation and delivery of products to HP Hood, LLC customers. This position requires a current valid CDL A, a satisfactory MVR (Motor Vehicle Record), an up-to-date medical card, and the ability to perform manual labor.

Schedule:

• 4-day work week.
• Days off vary per week.
• Open Availability Required.
• Early morning start times (1 AM-3 AM).
• May be called on short notice to cover route emergencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Route Relief Operators will be expected to learn and cover all routes including depot locations.
• Responsible for the safe operation of the Company vehicle while complying with all company, State and Federal DOT regulations.
