City of Cleburne seeks a skilled worker to operate refuse collection vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and ensure routes are completed per instruction. You will load waste, assist with vehicle clean-up, and safely manage heavy equipment on city streets.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent with related experience; a Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement is preferred or obtainable within 90 days. This is a full-time, on-site role with safety as a priority.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year related experience, or equivalent combination.
• Preferred experience driving large trucks and performing manual labor.
• Valid Class B Texas CDL with Airbrake endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Aufgaben

• Operate vehicle with hydraulic collection mechanism and complete daily maintenance/checklist.
• Ensure route is completed as instructed and follow all safety policies.
• Load garbage into trucks and assist in vehicle clean-up daily.
• Operate multiple heavy equipment and vehicles as required.
• Perform computer input and customer service tasks.
