Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Retail Route Merchandiser for the LA, Shreveport area to stock vending machines and micro-markets, keep products fresh and visually appealing, and drive the route safely.

You will build client relationships, upsell offerings, manage cash handling, and coordinate with warehouses to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining inventory and equipment. This role requires independence and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Pass drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• DOT requirements: must be 21+.

Responsibilities

• Stock vending machines and micro-markets according to store layouts and plans.
• Manage inventory and coordinate with warehouse for deliveries.
• Drive company vehicle to client locations and ensure safe handling of products.
• Handle cash from kiosks and report transactions.
• Inspect perishables and maintain proper refrigeration and cleanliness at POS.
• Greet customers professionally and upsell products where appropriate.
• Complete full route inventory counts as required.
