Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser for servicing multiple bulk accounts and presenting products in customer retail locations. This role requires following plan sets and communicating with store management and cross-functional teams.

The route covers Ballantyne, South Park, Matthews NC and surrounding areas. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between stores, with weekend work required.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy varied customer needs and expectations.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.
• Demonstrates critical thinking abilities.
• Company provided cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Fill, merchandize and rotate products on display and shelf per procedures.
• Move products from backroom to display area.
• Create and distribute point-of-sale materials where permitted; rotate and stock merchandisers.
• Organize back room; stack and arrange products by package and flavor; manage pallets and shells.
• Foster relationships with store personnel through follow-ups, pricing, programs and opportunities.
