Job summary

FedEx Office is seeking a Pick Up & Delivery Courier in Kent, WA. The role involves driving a company vehicle to pick up and deliver orders to FedEx Office stores and customer locations, while maintaining logs and ensuring safety policy compliance.

Daily duties include route coordination with a dispatcher, handling customer inquiries, and performing store duties during lulls in deliveries. Must meet driving and licensing requirements and pass annual vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of two years of driving experience.
• Valid and current driver’s license.
• Ability to comply with any specialized regulatory or licensing requirements, as determined by geographic location and/or work assignment; FedEx Office will communicate any specialized regulatory or licensing requirements during the hiring process
• Must meet and maintain the FedEx Office Motor Vehicle Requirements, to be audited annually
• For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of hiring
• For current FedEx Office team members, must meet hiring criteria for the position and transfer requirements as outlined in the Team Member Handbook

Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle to perform pick-up/delivery service for FedEx Office stores and for customers
• Pick-up duties: drive to customer’s place of business or FedEx Office store, receive completed masters for photocopying orders, pick up supplies and inventory
• Delivery duties: deliver finished photocopy orders to customers or FedEx Office stores and distribute marketing materials
• Receive daily route information from a centralized dispatcher via a company provided phone
• Maintain pick-up/delivery logs and vehicle maintenance logs
• Adhere to FedEx Office safety policies and guidelines; follow accident procedures and traffic laws
• Provide quality service at every customer interaction, answer questions, resolve problems, and conduct polite interactions
• Perform additional duties within the store during non-delivery times
• All other duties as needed
