Job summary

Coastal Beverage Company Inc is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser to support sales and delivery by servicing retail accounts and maintaining displays to Coastal Beverage Company standards. This field-based role requires consistent presence in customer accounts during normal business hours to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role involves assisting with training new merchandisers, leading store resets, covering large routes, and attending sales meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year merchandiser or sales experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic math skills including fractions and percentages.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Computer skills including email and internet.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales and delivery teams by servicing and merchandising retail accounts.
• Field-based role requiring consistent presence in customer accounts during business hours.
• Assist with training new merchandisers.
• Lead or assist with store resets.
• Cover large format routes as needed.
• Conduct surveys of accounts as requested.
• Attend sales meetings and complete training.
• Maintain punctual attendance for timely product delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
