The Salvation Army Riverside County ARC in Perris, CA is seeking a Production Assistant 1 to support daily routes, loading/unloading and safety procedures. You will work under the Transportation Supervisor to ensure timely pickups and courteous service.

Responsibilities include following routing directions, supervising a truck helper, performing pre/post checks, and maintaining safe equipment. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean Driving Record and be able to pass an MVR.
• Strong time management and customer service skills
• Ability to operate electronic equipment used for daily route information
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Mansioni

• Follow daily routing directions and avoid off-route moves.
• Manage time to complete route within the schedule.
• Safely load/unload assigned truck and assist others as needed.
• Handle all donated material with proper safety procedures.
• Train and supervise truck helper in daily tasks.
• Perform pre- and post-checks on equipment daily.
• Provide courteous customer service and report donor issues to supervisor.
• Report all accidents and drive safely per DOT/state laws.
• Adhere to meal/rest breaks and safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.
