Job summary

AVI Foodsystems, Inc. is seeking a friendly Route Floater to join our Parkersburg, WV team. This full-time position starts at 5am, Monday through Friday, and involves driving, loading, and delivering products to client locations.

You will ensure proper loading, refrigeration, and inventory control, while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations.
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Fill in for Service Routes or Delivery Routes as needed.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Route Floater, Full-time in Parkersburg, WV. This position will work Monday-Friday, with a start-time of 5am.
