Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Route Floater for a full-time position, with Monday through Saturday shifts and varying hours. This role supports multiple routes and warehouses, ensuring timely delivery and accurate stock across client locations.

The ideal candidate is 21+, holds a valid driver's license (CDL not required), can lift up to 50 pounds, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment with excellent time management and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive vehicle to transport products and to client locations.
• Fill in for Service Routes, Delivery Routes and Warehouse as needed.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.
