Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time Route Driver - SmartService in Houston to drive a company vehicle on established routes, deliver products, and maintain inventory for vending machines. The role requires loading, unloading, and operating a handheld computer to ensure accurate records and on-time service.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of driving experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to perform light lifting (up to 50 lbs). Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Preferred 1–2 years’ customer service experience, or 1 year related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle on established routes to deliver products.
• Maintain inventory in vending machines and ensure proper distribution.
• Load/unload products and operate handheld computer for inventory.
• Keep vehicle clean and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Provide quality service and resolve client concerns as needed.
