Canteen, a Compass Group USA company, is hiring a full-time Route Driver to service vending machines in Lakewood, NJ. The role involves daily routes, early morning starts, and some weekend work.

Requires a valid driver’s license and prior driving experience; 50 lb lifting ability; customer service experience is preferred. We offer competitive pay at $23.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities within the Compass Group network.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Drives company vehicle on established route and delivers products with inventory maintenance.
• Maintains proper inventory levels and distribution for vending machines.
• Loads and unloads product, using hand cart and loading equipment.
• Performs routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Reports defective equipment and issues to maintenance or dispatcher.
• Keeps machine product data updated via handheld computer.
• Notifies clients of new products or services.
• Resolves client/service complaints in a timely manner.
