Job summary

Canteen is hiring a full-time Route Driver for its SMARTSERVICE program in Edison, NJ. You will drive a company vehicle along a set route, deliver products to vending machines, and maintain inventory levels.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and prior driving experience, with a strong focus on service quality. This position offers a fixed pay rate of $23.00 per hour, with opportunities for commissions where applicable, and includes a comprehensive benefits package for full-time

Qualifications

3 years driving experience required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred 1–2 years of customer service experience, or at least 1 year of related experience.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

Deliver products via company vehicle along a defined route and maintain inventory.
Ensure vending machines are stocked and inventories are accurate.
Load/unload products, operate hand cart, and assist with machine servicing as needed.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
Provide excellent customer service and address issues promptly with supervision.
