Job summary

Canteen North America in Memphis, TN is hiring a full-time Route Driver - SmartService to deliver products along a fixed route, maintain inventory, and provide top-notch service to clients. The role pays a fixed rate of $21.25 per hour with training provided and opportunities such as internal referral bonuses; some roles may include commission eligibility.

Schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating weekends; duties include loading the truck, stocking vending machines, performing safety

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Prior to route start, ensure truck is loaded with all product for scheduled machines.
• Maintain inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Load machines, return to truck with empty totes.
• Rotate products for freshness at client locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in all aspects of job performance.
• Clean and sanitize vending machines and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service on machines and report defects to maintenance.
• Maintain machine data via handheld device.
• Inform regular clients of new products or services.
• Resolve service complaints with supervisor promptly.
• Set up merchandise and promotional displays.
• Handle receipts, invoices, cash, and goods accurately.
• Perform inventory reconciliation and vehicle pre/post-trip inspections.
