Job summary

K&M Tire is seeking a Route Truck Driver in Carlsbad, NM. You will work under the Warehouse Manager or Team Leader to provide dependable, safe, and friendly service to customers on your route.

Responsibilities include pre-route inspections, on-time deliveries, load security, and COD collection with signatures. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be 21 or older and able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Two years of work experience preferred for route driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints professionally.
• Perform daily pre-route inspections using the ELog interface.
• Transport and deliver items to customers on the assigned route safely.
• Unload truck efficiently and keep loads secure until destination.
• Communicate with supervisor about issues or concerns.
• Follow traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Capture COD payments and obtain delivery signatures.
• Maintain daily ELog compliance and route efficiency.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed or requested.
