Job summary

K&M Tire is seeking a ROUTE TRUCK DRIVER to provide dependable, safe, and friendly service on designated routes from the warehouse. You will support customers with professional delivery and ensure accurate COD payment procedures, while maintaining vehicle readiness and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Ability to learn tire knowledge and ensure brand/size accuracy.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints professionally.
• Conduct daily pre-route vehicle inspections via the ELog interface.
• Transport and deliver items to customers on assigned route safely and on time.
• Unload truck efficiently and keep the interior tidy.
• Communicate with supervisor about issues or concerns.
• Ensure loads are secure and comply with safety rules.
• Follow traffic laws and company policies on cell phone use while driving.
• Use Signature Capture to collect COD payments and obtain POD signature.
• Maintain daily ELog compliance and efficient route travel.
• Support management decisions and promote company goals.
