Job summary

BioTrans LLC is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver in the Hermon, ME area. The role involves operating a small box truck or cargo van, delivering freight on scheduled routes, and maintaining safety and vehicle sanitation.

Passports are required for certain routes, and a valid driver’s license plus a clean driving record are essential. Some overnight stays may be possible, with shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and potentially Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid U.S. Passport/ Passport Card Required.
• Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).
• Background check required.
• Ability to use smartphones and willingness to learn our company’s workflow-related applications.
• Experience driving cargo vans and box trucks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices.
• Comfortable climbing into and out of vehicles repeatedly with no difficulties.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers).
• Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles.

Delivery Driver Job Highlights & Shift:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday with Possible Friday route deliveries variable shifts with possible overnight stays in hotel paid by company. Passport Required.
