Biotrans is seeking an experienced Route Delivery Driver to join our Maryland office in Frederick, MD 21701. This full-time role requires an experienced driver comfortable with early starts and multi-state routes.

Responsibilities include safe operation of 24-26 ft box trucks and cargo vans, adherence to DOT regulations, daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and using GPS and smartphones for routing. DOT card required; background check and valid license essential.

Route Delivery Driver Job Highlights:

Sunday - Friday route delivery driving. In state and out of state driving. Early morning start times as early as 3:00 am, includes OTR (Overnight stays in hotel paid for by the company)DOT medical card required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a 24-26 ft Box Truck and a variety of small box trucks and cargo vans.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules which requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety as well as adhering to DOT rules and regulations
• Adhere to company policies and SOP
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices.
• Comfortable climbing into and out of vehicles repeatedly with no difficulties.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers).
• Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting.
• Extended periods of sitting.

Requirementsand Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21+ years of Age
• Valid License/Real ID
• Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).
• DOT Medical Card required
• Background Check required
• Ability to use smartphones and willingness to learn our company’s workflow-related applications
• Experience driving cargo vans and box trucks.
