Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Route Driver to represent the company while making deliveries and picking up freight. The role involves operating a vehicle, loading and unloading freight, and maintaining accurate records.

Hours are Monday–Friday starting at 7:30 AM with overtime potential; starting wage is $21.00–$26.25 per hour based on experience. This is a full-time, nonexempt position with benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record meeting company standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers in a timely manner.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck to optimize space and prevent damage to packages.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify contents of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
