Job summary

Healthcare Linen Services Group is seeking a Route Driver Non CDL for 1st shift in Madison, WI. This full-time position pays $23.00–$25.60 hourly with full benefits. Responsibilities include delivering clean product, loading/unloading carts, and building professional customer relations.

Qualifying candidates should have a valid Class D license, be able to lift 25 lbs overhead, and be available weekends. Excellent attendance and safety compliance are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day.
• Must have a valid Class D driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Six months to one-year experience preferred.
• Be available to drive weekends.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead.
• Stand, walk and climb stairs up to 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Operate company truck to deliver clean product to customers in a timely manner.
• Load and unload laundry carts; assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct with customers.
• Follow safety guidelines and vehicle operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers and supervisor.
• Cross-train on other routes as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Salary Range: $23.00 To $25.60 Hourly

PURPOSE : To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY : NEW STARTING RATE: $23 for Class D Drivers and $25.60 for Class B Drivers!!!! Operate company truck to deliver clean product to the customer in a timely manner and pick up soiled product from customer locations. Load and unload the trucks with laundry carts. Establish professional relationship with customers and provide quality customer service. Represent the company professionally in appearance, conduct, and performance while at customer locations. Safe operation of company vehicles, including pre and post route inspections. Follow standard vehicle operating procedures.

• Cross-train on other routes per department needs
• Perform equipment moves to service provider for repairs and service as needed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day
• Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling
• Valid Class D driver’s license
• Must have clean driving record per company policy
• Have six months to one-year experience
• Be available to drive weekends
• Ability to speak and read the English language
• Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead
• Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs up to 10 hours per day
• Be able to use repetitive arm motions
