Job summary

Healthcare Linen Services Group in Rochester, MN is seeking a Part-Time Route Driver (Non CDL) to operate company vehicles, deliver clean linen products to customers, and collect soiled items from customer locations. You will load and unload using laundry carts, maintain professional appearance, and follow safety procedures while on route.

The role requires excellent communication, dependable attendance, a valid Class D license and a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class D driver's license and clean driving record.
• Six months to one year of driving or similar delivery experience.
• Able to work nights and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, and sit in a vehicle for several hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate company truck to deliver clean product to customers in a timely manner.
• Pickup soiled product from customer locations and load/unload with laundry carts.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at customer sites.
• Perform pre/post route vehicle inspections and follow safety rules.
• Communicate with customers and supervisor to coordinate routes.

Route Driver Non CDL - Part-Time

Part Time Hourly Direct Hires Rochester, MN, US

PURPOSE : To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY : Operate company truck to deliver clean product to the customer in a timely manner and pick up soiled product from customer locations. Load and unload the trucks with laundry carts. Establish professional relationship with customers and provide quality customer service. Represent the company professionally in appearance, conduct, and performance while at customer locations. Safe operation of company vehicles, including pre and post route inspections. Follow standard vehicle operating procedures.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Cross-train on other routes per department needs
• Perform equipment moves to service provider for repairs and service as needed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day
• Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling
• Valid Class D driver’s license
• Must have clean driving record per company policy
• Have six months to one-year experience
• Be available to drive nights and weekends
• Ability to speak and read the English language
• Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead
• Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs up to 10 hours per day
• Be able to use repetitive arm motions
