Job summary

Chadwell Supply is a successful family-owned maintenance supply company with 30 branches nationwide. We are seeking an enthusiastic Route Driver to operate a box truck, deliver products, and serve customers along the route. You must be 21+, physically capable of lifting 60+ pounds, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• You must be 21 years or older.
• You must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds, standing for extended periods, able to climb steps and ladders, and able to bend, stoop, and carry products up steps, stairs, and ramps.
• You must have a valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 1 year of box truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates a box truck to transport products between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observes, obeys and abides by all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions when operating any motorized vehicle.
• Strives to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
• Performs a daily inspection of the delivery vehicle including: fluid levels, tire pressure, tire condition, and general roadworthiness to meet DOT requirements.
