Job summary

Chadwell Supply is seeking a Route Driver to join our growing team in Florida. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00am, with no weekend work and holidays off. You will operate a box truck, deliver to customers, and support branch operations at one of our 30 nationwide locations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior box truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates a box truck to transport products between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observes traffic signs, laws, and road conditions while operating the vehicle.
• Aims to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customers.
• Performs a daily inspection of the delivery vehicle (fluid levels, tire pressure, tire condition).

Overview
Chadwell Supply is a successful family owned maintenance supply company with 30 Branches Nationwide. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded individual to work as a Chadwell Supply Route Driver.

What you will need

• You must be 21 years or older.
• You must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
• You must have a valid drivers license.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior box truck experience is required.

• Observes, obeys and abides by all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions when operating any motorized vehicle.
