Job summary

Chadwell Supply is seeking a motivated Route Driver to join our growing team. You will operate a 16' box truck to deliver products between facilities and to customers, maintaining safety and reliability on every route.

You must be physically capable, hold a valid driver’s license, and have DOT knowledge. This role offers a stable full-time schedule, weekday hours, and opportunities across our 30 branches nationwide.

Qualifications

• You must be 21 years or older.
• You must be physically capable of lifting over 60 pounds and able to stand for long periods.
• You must have a valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year Box Truck (16' min) or equivalent experience.
• DOT regulation knowledge and experience.
• Navigation proficiency.
• Time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates a box truck to transport products between facilities and route drivers.
• Observes traffic laws and road conditions when operating a motorized vehicle.
• Strives to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt delivery and clear communication.
• Performs daily vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.

Overview

Chadwell Supply is a successful family-owned maintenance supply company with 30 Branches Nationwide. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded individual to work as a Chadwell Supply Route Driver.

What you will need

• You must be 21 years or older.
• You must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
• You must have a valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 1 year of priorBox Truck (16' minimum) or equivalent experience.
• DOT regulation knowledge and experience.
• Navigation proficiency.
• Time Management Skills.

How you will make an impact

• Operates a box truck to transport products, goods, and materials from and between distribution facilities and route drivers.
• Observes, obeys, and abides by all traffic signs, laws, and road conditions when operating any motorized vehicle.
• Strives to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery and communication with company and customer personnel.
• Performs a daily inspection of the delivery vehicle, including: all fluid levels, tire pressure, tire condition, and evaluating general roadworthiness to ensure the vehicle meets DOT requirements.
