Airgas in Clearwater, FL is hiring a CDL B Route Driver for healthcare deliveries. This role loads, transports, and unloads compressed gas cylinders to local businesses, ensuring safety and compliance with hazmat standards.

You will start early, enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule, and benefit from pay, health coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, and opportunities for growth within a national leader in gases and services.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Airbrake endorsements, or able to obtain within 60 days from hire date.
• Maintain valid driver's license, medical card & endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in last 3 years (or combination).
• No DUI within last seven years.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Be able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with equipment.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience in last 5 years or proof of trucking school within last 12 months.
• Forklift experience preferred.

As a key representative of Airgas, the delivery driver contributes to the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company provided CDL B vehicle. This position involves loading, unloading, and returning compressed gas cylinders while frequently connecting with Airgas customers.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT (or able to obtain within 60 days from hire date) & Airbrake endorsements


• Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements


• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years


• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years


• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment


• Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment


• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.
