Airgas is hiring a Local Delivery Driver in Grand Prairie, TX, to safely deliver compressed gas cylinders from our shop using a company truck. You will build lasting relationships with local customers and ensure safe, efficient deliveries.

Qualified candidates hold a TX Class A CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements, have at least 1 year of recent Class A/B driving, and can lift up to 75 lbs. 21+ and Medical Exam Card required.

Competenze

• Valid TX Class A CDL and Hazmat & Airbrake certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of Class A/B driving experience within the last 5 years.
• Able to lift 25–75 lbs and occasionally heavier with equipment.
• Comfort driving with hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.

Mansioni

• Deliver compressed gas cylinders safely to local and regional partners.
• Operate from an Airgas branch or shop using a company-provided truck.
• Maintain safe driving practices and build strong customer relationships.
• Support overtime as needed and ensure on-time deliveries.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

• Valid TX Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
• Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications required.
• We are looking for one (1) year of prior Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a commitment to road safety to include no more than two (2) convictions, OR two (2) at-fault accidents in the last three years; OR no more than a combination of one (1) conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last three years.
• We also welcome graduates with a diploma from an accredited driving school within the last 12 months OR a minimum of one (1) year of prior driving experience within the last five (5) years.
• Candidates should be at least 21 years or older.
• Proficiency in navigating and comprehending material safety data sheets.
• Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
• Ideally, you are comfortable operating vehicles with hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending is also part of our daily operations.
• Availability to support the team with occasional overtime if necessary.
• Ability to obtain and maintain collaborative safety credentials for customer site access.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (Forklift/Moffett).
