Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery is seeking a Route Driver to represent the company while delivering and picking up freight. You will load the truck, inspect vehicles, and maintain a professional appearance.

This full-time position requires a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. Starting wages range from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour with overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards.
• DOT physical exam required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers in a timely manner.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck in an organized manner to maximize space and prevent damage to packages.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies.
