Job summary

WM is seeking a Shred-it Route Driver to provide on-site document destruction services, manage assigned routes, and ensure secure handling of confidential materials. The role requires box truck experience and a valid driver’s license.

Schedule is 4x10 shifts, Monday through Friday, with early start times between 6-7 am. The position offers hourly pay and benefits, with a focus on safety, DOT compliance, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience, preferably in driving box trucks and route management.
• Current, personal driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Performs onsite/offsite destruction of confidential information.
• Pre/post-trip checks and driver check-in on the assigned truck.
• Operates equipment safely to minimize risk of injury and damage.
• Complies with local, state, and federal laws and DOT logs.
• Maintains security when handling consoles and containers.
• Services accounts using a handheld device with barcode tracking.
• Manages routes to ensure timely service of confidential material.
• Responds to customer problems and inquiries promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
