Job summary

WM is seeking a Shred-it Route Driver to provide industry-leading service for clients’ document destruction needs, including transporting supplies and materials safely and in accordance with policy and laws. You will load and unload the delivery vehicle and ensure cargo is secured before transport.

The role requires performing on-site/off-site destruction, pre/post-trip checks, safe operation of equipment, compliance with safety regulations, and timely service across assigned routes.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience, preferably in driving Box Trucks and route management.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information.
• Performs pre/post-trip checks, and driver check-in on assigned truck, prior to leaving or closing for the day.
• Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner to minimize risk of injury and equipment damage.
• Maintains security when handling documents and containers.
• Services accounts using a hand-held device to ensure locations and quantities are up to date.
• Manages assigned routes ensuring timely and accurate service of customers.
• Responds to customer problems and inquiries in the best interest of WMHS.
