Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a transportation, dispatch or customer service role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer focus and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient typing speed and advanced computer skills; TRUX experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service and handle changes following established policies.
• Dispatch calls to routes based on route and driver location.
• Perform driver check-ins at day’s end for accurate paperwork.
• Distribute and review route sheets for end-of-day data entry.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve service issues.
• Interact with customers, sales, and operations staff.
• Work with routing specialists to optimize routes.
• Field incoming calls and emails from customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery and pickup problems.
