Job summary

Canteen, a division of Compass Group USA, is hiring a full-time ROUTE DRIVER - UTILITY in Newbern, TN 38059. You will drive a company truck on a defined route to deliver and stock products, collect money from vending machines, and support customer service at client sites.

Schedule is Monday through Friday with weekend work; hours may vary. A valid driver’s license and prior warehouse or delivery experience are required. Benefits and career growth are offered by Canteen.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and delivery experience required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Drives company-owned truck over a defined route to deliver and sell products or render services.
• Collects money from machines and makes change by performing the following duties.
• Loads stock, maintains inventory, and keeps the route clean and safe.
• Calls on customers to determine service adequacy and informs about new products.
• Sets up merchandise and displays, records transactions, and handles daily paperwork.
• Performs routine maintenance and sanitation of machines; complies with safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
