Job summary

XL Parts / The Parts House in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a delivery driver responsible for on-time delivery of auto parts, collecting payments for COD, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires loading/unloading, navigating routes, and communicating with the dispatch team.

You will perform routine vehicle checks, assist in warehouse tasks, and uphold safety standards in varying weather. This position is full-time and requires a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license for the appropriate state.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must be able to drive in wet and/or humid conditions.
• Able to use ladders and work around warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review the daily schedule provided by the dispatcher.
• Load vehicles and inform dispatchers when deliveries are complete.
• Drive to customer locations to deliver parts per the scheduled route.
• Collect payments from COD customers and record transactions.
• Create Returned Goods Forms (RFG) for returned products with signatures.
• Perform weekly vehicle maintenance checks and report needs.
• Assist with warehouse duties when not on routes.
