Responsibilities

• Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight using a small box truck or cargo van.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time-sensitive schedules with attention to detail.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel as needed; report issues to dispatch.
• Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles.
• Navigate using GPS and work outdoors in varying weather.

We have an immediate opportunity for two Part Time Delivery Driver positions in our Little Ferry, NJ location!BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.Position Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday route driving early morning start times as early as 2:30 am. In state and out of state driving including city driving.Position Shift 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday route driving early morning start times as early as 4:00 am. In state and out of state driving including city driving.Delivery Driver Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van.Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention.Maintain a strong commitment to safety.Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices.Comfortable climbing into and out of vehicles repeatedly with no difficulties.Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers).Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles.Physical Requirements & Working ConditionsWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting.Extended periods of sitting.Minimum Requirements and Employee Expectations:Must be 21+ years of AgeValid driver's license/ Real IDAcceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).Background check required.Ability to use smartphones and willingness to learn our company’s workflow-related applicationsExperience driving cargo vans and box trucks
