Job summary

ABM Industries Route Driver is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of multiple banking facilities. This role is 100% driving/on the road, earning $18.00 per hour with weekly pay.

Shift hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a flexible schedule that can include nights and weekends. On-the-job training is provided, and a valid state driver’s license is required to report to various banking locations in the DMV area.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• Valid state issued driver’s license.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities.
• Notify management concerning repairs or additions to building systems.
• Establish and maintain communication with clients and staff.
• Comply with safety, security, and quality standards.
• Clean interior surfaces and fixtures; dust, wipe, and sanitize areas.
• Service, clean, and stock restrooms.

The Route Driver provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned multiple banking facilities setting. This position is 100% driving/on the road, 18.00 per hour; paid weekly. Shift hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Flexible schedule can include nights and weekends, Overtime will be available., shift hours may vary depending on business needs, will report to several banking setting locations in the DMV area. Provide cleaning, floor care and miscellaneous tasks as needed per the client

Pay: $18.00 per hour

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks
• Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
• Wash and replace blinds
• Gather and empty trash
• Tracks and maintains supplies, Police the parking lot for debris
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms

Required:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• Valid state issued driver's license
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• 2 years of commercial cleaning and floor tech, carpet cleaning experience
• Proficiency using maps and location equipment in the field
• 1 year of similar work experience
