Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a range of cleaning duties across facilities. The role supports a clean, safe, and orderly environment, serving employees, clients, and visitors.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 10:00am–2:00pm, with an hourly pay of $18.50 and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include floor care, restroom sanitation, trash removal, window cleaning, equipment maintenance, and aiding event setups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in janitorial or cleaning is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation
