Job summary

Meyer Logistics Inc. is seeking an experienced Box Truck Driver (non-CDL) to join our growing, family‑owned team. You will drive local routes, deliver to customers on schedule, and complete required paperwork while adhering to DOT regulations.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 5:00 a.m. with an average of 40 hours per week. Compensation is $23.00 per hour, plus quarterly safety bonus and robust benefits including health, retirement matching, paid time off, holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience driving 26–28 ft box trucks or similar vehicle (>10,001 lbs).
• Valid truck driver license with state endorsement.
• Willing to submit to drug screens and background checks; must have DOT medical card.
• No recent violations; insurable at standard rates.
• Able to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks to make route deliveries and meet schedules.
• Load/unload and maneuver trucks for deliveries.
• Comply with truck driving rules and DOT regulations.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and perform basic maintenance.
• Report defects, accidents and violations.
• Complete DOT and company paperwork.
• Communicate with Fleet Management on maintenance.
• Heavy lifting of 75+ lbs.
