Job summary

Meyer is seeking an experienced Box Truck Driver to join our team. You will drive company trucks for route deliveries, complete paperwork, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely deliveries while complying with DOT regulations.

This non-CDL position offers a $22.00 per hour wage, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with a quarterly driver safety bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K match, paid time off, holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience driving 26-28 ft box trucks or similar vehicle over 10,001 lbs (Required).
• Valid truck driver license with state endorsement.
• Will submit to drug screens, background checks and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• No recent violations and insurable at standard rate.
• Operate / drive a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to deliver routes and meet schedules.
• Load and unload deliveries and maneuver trucks for loading.
• Comply with truck driving rules and DOT regulations.
• Inspect vehicles and perform preventative maintenance.
• Report defects, accidents and violations.
• Complete DOT and company paperwork.
• Coordinate with Fleet Management on maintenance.
• Heavy lifting 75+ lbs.
