Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Route Service Manager to deliver batteries and provide outstanding service to a predefined route of customers and dealers. You will collaborate with dealers to optimize battery mix, execute quality programs, and strengthen dealer retention.

Responsibilities include safe loading/unloading, maintaining asset records, and processing paperwork. The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work overtime as needed, with potential overnight

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Excellent communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver batteries to dealer routes in a safe, timely manner.
• Load/unload trucks and maintain accurate assets inventory.
• Build and maintain dealer relationships; manage sales, consignment, warranties, cash, and invoicing.
• Complete route paperwork; collect and return batteries to warehouse.
• Interact professionally with team members, managers and customers.
