Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations in Franklin, NC. You will display and maintain inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush, and more, while staying organized on a tablet-based system.

No prior experience is required; we train you. The role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and a 401(k) with company match. Avg 3–6 hours weekly, potential holiday peaks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation for multi-location routes.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Comfort with using a company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on the assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and other locations.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and perform inventory tasks as needed.
• Communicate scheduling questions or concerns to management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with effective time management.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work or product assembly.
