Job summary

Alt's Operation in Verona, WI is hiring a Fertilizer Applicator Technician to run a dedicated route, apply turf products, and maintain trucks and documentation. The role requires a Wisconsin pesticide license or ability to obtain within 30 days, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors year-round.

You will manage your own schedule, ensure accurate application rates, and maintain equipment. Snow work is included, with higher pay during winter storms.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin DATCP fertilizer pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Working knowledge of turf and lawn care practices.
• Ability to read product labels and follow schedules precisely.

Responsibilities

• Turn assigned properties into healthy, green lawns by applying fertilizer and turf products on schedule.
• Run your own route and truck; maintain trailer organization and inventory.
• Calibrate equipment and follow product labels and safety data sheets.
• Complete service receipts accurately and ensure customer trust.
• Handle herbicides and pre-emergents as trained; perform seasonal snow work as needed.
• Maintain and inspect trucks and trailers weekly; use LMN for routing and documentation.
