Job summary

Nabors is seeking a Roustabout to perform manual labor tasks on an offshore drilling rig. You will assist the Crane Operator and Derrickhand, perform housekeeping, and help relocate supplies and equipment on deck.

Responsibilities include following directions, maintaining safety, and completing Nabors training. The role may require 14 on/14 off rotation, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years experience as a Roustabout for another drilling company.
• Ability to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must complete Roustabout Training at the Nabors Training Center.
• Must have reliable transportation to the crew change point for assigned rig.
• Position may require occasional travel.
• Position requires working in field for training.
• Position is operations oriented, and may require being on-call.
• Position may require working overnights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Crane Operator with offloading and back loading of supply vessels.
• Perform housekeeping activities on the rig (excluding the rig floor) including washing, chipping and painting.
• Assist Crane Operator with moving and relocating supplies, pipe and other equipment on the rig which involves attaching slings and cables to the object being moved.
• Assist the Derrickhand within the mud pit, mud pump and chemical sack rooms.
• Performs simple maintenance and repairs to the plumbing and sewer systems.
• When trained, relieves the floorhand on the drilling crew.
• Performs other general labor duties as assigned.
