CMC is hiring for a position involving operation of rough terrain forklifts and supporting precast concrete production. The role requires moving materials, following safety procedures, and assisting production teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Candidates must have forklift certification and the ability to work outdoors and indoors in varying weather while meeting safety and quality standards. High school diploma or GED is required to join our team in Martinsburg, WV.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.
• Experience operating rough terrain forklifts or large-capacity industrial forklifts.
• Ability to safely move oversized, heavy, or irregularly shaped materials.
• Knowledge of forklift safety, load security, and material handling best practices.
• Ability to inspect equipment and identify potential safety or maintenance issues.
• Ability to work independently, follow written and verbal instructions, and maintain reliable attendance.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around heavy equipment, noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate rough terrain forklifts and other heavy material handling equipment to support precast concrete production operations.
• Transport, load, unload, and stage concrete products, forms, materials, and supplies throughout the facility and yard.
• Follow all safety policies, operating procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain safe traffic flow and material storage practices in production and yard areas.
• Assist production crews with material handling and general labor activities as needed.
• Support daily production schedules while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
