Job summary

Dynamic Homes, a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., seeks a Rough Plumbing Crew Member to support plumbing installations in modular home units during rough construction. You will interpret blueprints, route water lines, and install copper piping while adhering to plumbing codes and safety standards.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort with overhead work. Full-time schedule Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, schematics, and work orders.
• Proficiency using manual and power tools safely and correctly.
• Knowledge of state plumbing codes.
• Ability to solder copper piping.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Ability to perform overhead work for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to lay out plumbing paths.
• Route water supply, drain, and vent lines per codes and specs.
• Run vent stacks to rooflines and into attic spaces as required.
• Install, solder, and seal copper piping with fittings and caps.
• Use tubing cutters, wire brushes, emery cloth, flux, torches, and saws.
• Connect plumbing systems to main water supply valves.
• Identify plumbing/safety issues and take corrective action.
• Demonstrate proper installation of range hood ducts and insulation.
• Maintain documentation for projects and perform basic clerical duties.
• Participate in cross-training to support workforce flexibility.
