Job summary

Cambria FabShop - Minnesota LLC is seeking a precise operator for rough cut machinery in our Minnesota facility. You will run Waterjet/Combi-Cut, monitor performance, and ensure quality and safety while maintaining documentation.

The role requires detail orientation, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, basic math, and the capacity to lift up to 60 lbs and operate a forklift/overhead crane as trained. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanically inclined; related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Operate waterjet, combi-cut, and saw with constant monitoring.
• Perform quality checks and document results.
• Interpret blueprints to plan cutting operations.
• Set up and operate cutting machinery efficiently.
• Document and organize material flow and quality verification.
• Inspect equipment; maintain area cleanliness and safety.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift as trained.
• Cross-train on multiple equipment types; flexible coverage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Job Description: This position is responsible for operating the rough cut machinery, maintaining the machinery, keeping accurate documentation, and handling material while maintaining safety standards, quality and order accuracy. This will require an individual who is highly detail oriented as well as has the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate the machinery (Waterjet/Combi-Cut, saw) as well as monitor and verify it is operating correctly at all times
• Perform quality checks as required
• Interpret blueprint drawings and sketches to plan
• Responsible for set-up and operation of cutting machinery
• Perform all required documentation and organization for material received, moved, scrapped, and quality verified
• Responsible for the visual inspection of equipment with complex parts, preventative maintenance, as well as area upkeep and cleanliness
• Operate overhead crane and forklift
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Cross-train on multiple types of equipment
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Management

Physical Requirements:

Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings Lift up to 60 lbs. Push/pull 100 lbs. Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 10 hours, with intermittent breaks Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises Bend over multiple times throughout shift

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $20.83 - $22.66. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
